Create Print and Online Content Variants in Scroll Exporter Apps

To use a different variant of content for your help center and print publishings, you can use the Scroll Only and Scroll Ignore macros in the Scroll Exporters apps.

Use Macros to Define Your Content

These macros are specifically for content which is being exported, and are great for situations where your help center readers don't need to see variants of content that you want to include in your print publishings (for example, once you have exported your Confluence content using  Scroll PDF Exporter), and vice versa.

To do this, add any variant content you want to only display on your help center into a Scroll Ignore macro and variant content you only want in your print publishings into a  Scroll Only macro.

Keep in Mind

  • You can only have two variants of your content, one for your help center and one for your print publishings.

  • On your help center, you can't hide entire pages that are part of the print variant.

  • To provide improvements and support, this app has a recurring cost.
